About: Introduction
I am Sunday Edward, the Deputy Principal in Charge of Academics at Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA). I provide strategic leadership in the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of the school's academic programmes to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning. Working closely with the Principal, Heads of Department, and teaching staff, I oversee curriculum implementation, instructional quality, academic assessment, and student performance while promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
I am passionate about creating an environment where both learners and educators thrive through collaborative leadership, data-informed decision-making, and continuous professional development. I believe that academic excellence is achieved through effective mentorship, learner-centred pedagogy, rigorous quality assurance, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
